About Volt Directory
Volt Directory is a free UK directory for the independent car trade - detailers, mobile mechanics and MOT garages. We exist so a good local business can be found without paying a platform for the privilege.
Why we built it
Most trade directories sell the same enquiry to five businesses and charge each of them for it. Drivers get five cold calls, traders pay for leads that were never theirs, and nobody comes out well. Volt does the opposite: one enquiry, one business, no fee.
A driver looking for a mobile mechanic in their town should be able to see who actually covers that area, what they do, and what their work looks like, then message them directly. That is the whole product.
How listings get here
Businesses either add themselves or claim a listing we've invited them to. Either way the business owner confirms their own name, services, coverage area, contact email and photos. Every submission is reviewed by hand before it goes live, and any listing can be updated or removed on request.

Your message goes to that business owner's inbox only. We don't resell enquiries.
Real coverage data
Listings show the town a business works from and the areas it travels to, so you don't waste time on someone 40 miles away.
Human review
Every listing is checked before publication and refreshed when a business tells us something has changed.
